Pacific NW morning walk

It's right around 40 degrees, this morning; chilly, damp, and gray.

Had a lovely walk, and got to pet other people's dogs. Sunday morning seems to be the "take my new pup out for socializing and trail-manners work" day.

Ooh, pictures! Yeah, it's been chilly a lot lately. I've been having to wear jackets or one of my dad's long-sleeve shirts in the house because it's been so cold.

And when did you get a new dog?

Unfortunately, I don't have a new dog. I just go for long walks to pet other people's dogs, these days. :)

No worries. I wasn't as clear as I might have been. Since I don't approach dogs I don't know without invitation, I see a lot of dogs I don't get to interact with. This morning was a bit odd and lovely in that we encountered a number of people who said things like, "She's shy, but we're working on that - if you were willing to pet her and say hi, that would be great!"
