I'm blaming my parents for my tax-aversion. They always hated doing theirs, too, and would send us kids outside to play so they could fight in relative privacy.
Just think, in a couple more years I'll get to join in with you and everyone else in complaining about doing taxes. And I'd probably do them earlier-than-last-minute because I never function well when I'm in a last-minute panic.
I have mine done now, because it's so anxiety-inducing for me (I always worry I have something SO WRONG). I genuinely don't mind paying to have a pro -- a lovely woman who loves tax law and finds the whole thing a fascinating puzzle -- take care of it.
