Muggy and hot here. Like Gulf Coast muggy and hot. Pretty sure I'm entirely covered with a fine sheen of sweat, but it might just be humidity, too -- it's hard to tell for sure.

Heh. I am so very not used to this any more. I do sort of like it, though.

I love hot and muggy weather, even when it makes me feel uncomfortable. The natural world seems hyperreal and present in that weather. Also, it seems to draw you in and capture you--as opposed to super cold or super hot (but not humid) weather, which both seem to push you out.

It's 8:17 am EST. The temperature is 67 degrees. Relative humidity? 96. Crazy. Seems like the whole country is in a steam bath this week.

I can't complain. Until last weekend, it's not been above 80 since April here in CT. Cool, sunny, breezy mid-70s most of the summer.
